Please stop the killing!

This is one of the saddest stories I've heard in a long time. An eighth grade boy killed a classmate of his because the classmate was gay.

With all the violence in the world these days. With politicians telling us that bombs are the best way to get things done. With states still carrying out the death penalty. With ministers preaching intolerance against gay people. I guess it should be no surprise that this eighth grader got the message that the way to deal with someone who's different from himself was to kill him.




I try to be an optimist, but this kind of thing is so disillusioning.

Why is love such a hard concept for people? Why do so many people think they have the right to tell others how to live? Why are there so many F@$#%&! morons out there?! And not just regular morons. Scary dangerous morons.
